QC's District 4 holds dance competition
"Dance Off: District 4 Women and LGBTQIA Show Off Their Moves in Quezon City's 'Kababaihan Ang Panahon Natin ay Ngayon' Competition"
The women and LGBTQIA members of District 4 in Quezon City showcased their dance skills in the "Kababaihan Ang Panahon Natin ay Ngayon" dance competition. Eight groups competed in the event, with each showing off their best moves and choreography.
After a heated dance-off, two groups emerged victorious and were chosen to represent their district in the upcoming championship on March 29 at Amoranto Sports Complex.
The winners of the District Dance Champion title were the Roxiasians Dance Company, with the San Isidro Galas ZIG 2023 named as the 1st runner up.
The event was a celebration of the talent and creativity of women and LGBTQIA members, as well as a reminder of the important role they play in society. The competition was part of Quezon City's Women's Month celebrations, which aim to empower women and promote gender equality.
Congratulations to the winners and all the participants for their hard work and dedication in showcasing their passion for dance.
