Makati welcomes Bongabong officials
Mayor Abby Binay and Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo welcomed the officials of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, on their visit to Makati City Hall for a benchmarking activity on Thursday, March 9. The visit aimed to provide Bongabong officials with insights into Makati's best practices in governance, administration, and service delivery.
During their visit, Mayor Abby and Vice Mayor Monique shared Makati's experiences in providing efficient and effective public services to its constituents. The officials from Bongabong expressed their interest in learning from Makati's successful initiatives in areas such as healthcare, education, and disaster response.
The officials from both cities also discussed possible areas of collaboration and partnership to promote mutual development and progress. The benchmarking activity was part of Makati City's continuing efforts to share its knowledge and experiences with other local government units, and to learn from other LGUs in return.
Mayor Abby and Vice Mayor Monique highlighted the importance of collaboration and cooperation among LGUs to achieve shared goals and objectives for the benefit of the people they serve.
The visit concluded with the officials from Bongabong expressing their gratitude to the Makati City officials for their warm welcome and valuable insights.
