INC endorses Binay’s Team Performance in Makati

Makati Mayor Abby Binay on Wednesday expressed her gratitude to the Iglesia ni Cristo for endorsing her and her fellow candidates under Team Performance.

The INC also endorsed reelectionist Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo and Rep. Luis Campos, and the mayor’s father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, who was running for congressional representative in the first district of Makati.

Also endorsed were six candidates for Councilor in each district.

“Thank you very much to the Iglesia ni Cristo under the leadership of Brother Eduardo Manalo for your continued support for and cooperation with us to carry out the good plans for Makati and all its people,” Mayor Binay said.

The elder Binay also thanked the INC for its endorsement of his candidacy.

“I am thankful to the leadership of the INC for supporting my candidacy again. Makati residents and all members of the church can expect me to promote the welfare and rights of all citizens in Congress, and to further develop education, health, and livelihood programs,” the former vice president said.

The INC has endorsed the following candidates for City Councilor in District 1:  Martin Arenas, VirJhong Hilario, Jojo Javier, Armand Padilla, Joey Villena, and Alcine Ichi Yabut.

For District 2 Councilors, INC has endorsed Dennis Almario, Doris Arayon, Bong Ariones, Bodik Baniqued, Sammy Cruz, and Ina Sarosa.
