Makati Mayor Abby Binay on Saturday took her oath of office before Supreme Court Associate Justice Diosdado Peralta during the celebration of the 349th Araw ng Makati on Makati Avenue.

The mayor, who won a second term in the May 13 midterm elections, was accompanied by her father, former vice president Jejomar Binay, her husband, reelected second district Rep. Luis Campos, and their daughter, Martina.

Campos, Vice Mayor Monique Lagdameo, and other elected city officials under Mayor Binay’s Team Performance were also sworn in during the event.

With a fresh mandate, the mayor vowed that her team would continue to work hard and pursue in earnest Makati’s digital transformation through technology and groundbreaking innovations to improve the lives of Makati residents.

Binay also led the unveiling of a landmark that signified Makati’s efforts in fast-tracking progress.
