Makati holds Lingkod Bayan Caravan
The city of Makati has launched its Lingkod Bayan Caravan program, providing various free services to over 1,000 #ProudMakatizens in Barangay Olympia. The program aims to bring the services closer to the people, addressing their needs without the need to travel to the city hall.
The Lingkod Bayan Caravan offers a range of free services, including medical and dental check-ups, legal consultations, social welfare services, and business permits and licensing assistance. The program also provides assistance to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and solo parents.
The caravan is staffed with personnel from various departments of the city government, as well as partner agencies and organizations. The city government also provided mobile service trucks, tents, and other equipment to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
The Lingkod Bayan Caravan is part of the city's efforts to promote efficient and accessible public service delivery. The program brings government services closer to the people, making them more accessible, convenient, and responsive to their needs.
The program is also a testament to the city government's commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable community, where every citizen is empowered and enabled to reach their full potential.
The Lingkod Bayan Caravan will run for several days, providing assistance and services to different barangays in Makati. Through this program, the city government hopes to create a more responsive and people-centric government that is committed to serving the needs of its constituents.
